The screen shot below shows what happens when we reach the sendLedStates() function.

This function is provided in the newly generated mtGen.c in commented out form, beginning with a /*  multi-line comment start character sequence, as shown in the file on the right side (arrow 1).

Note that on the left side, this character sequence has been removed in order to enable the function.

We can remove the comment start character sequence on the right by clicking on the little yellow arrow next to the cross-hatched "empty line" area on the left side (see arrow 2).

When we do that, Beyond Compare 3 will copy the lines indicated by the bracket extending below the yellow arrow, which includes the "empty line".
